We are currently undergoing many changes including the formation of a new homepage and a serious restructuring of our forum.
The goal here is to improve on the overall functionality of MV to make it easier for me to update and keep it interesting for all of you!

Forum Reminders
Racing Photos: This is a general reminder to all members in regards to editing racing photos. The only modifications you are allowed to make are to the white part of the eyes if you are using Paint. Other than that, DO NOT edit your photos.
*UPDATED* Reusing Racing Photos: Given that there have been many complaints on the need for new photos for each race judged by the same judge, I have decided to update this rule to the following:
You must use new photos for each month. You may not reuse photos from previous months to enter new races in the current month you are in. You may reuse photos as many times as you wish within the same month.
If you have any questions regarding this new rule, please feel free to reply to this post or post your questions in the Help board on the forum.

Racing News
*IMPORTANT* All members have now been assigned a Membership number, to view your number, please check out the Member Centre page and scroll down until you find your name. You will need your number in order to enter all future races so it is important that you know what yours is.
All leftover races from the previous season have been judged and points have been distributed. Point totals are also kept in the Member Centre.
We have also added a Leader Board to our blog to show the three top teams currently at the Mountain View Races.
*RACING SEASONS UPDATE* There are three racing seasons here at MV and three off seasons. The reason behind this new change is that I (in the past) have often need time to go through posts, organize contests and do any forum updating that needs to be done (including writing the MV Times).
So I have come to the conclusion that instead of letting this place die every time I get frustrated with the amount of work to do that I actually schedule breaks for myself to get caught up! Clever right?
So the racing seasons will look like this in the future:
- November to January - the Fall/Winter Season
- April to June - the Spring Season
- August to September - the Summer Season
Don't panic about the "off" season. The forum will remain open and other activities such as dog shows and other contests will be taking place.

Since MV was going through a lot of changes and updates, the last Petz Draw did not receive a lot of attention, therefore we are extending this Petz Draw until the end of November.
Breeding Challenge - Nov 2011
In this month's challenge we will be looking for a puppy with the highest racing potential as a team dog. The prize will be 10 Racing Points and the beautiful trophy you see below!
